Capacity to refuse feeding PH, regarding his situation as a living hell and perceiving himself to be a burden to others, had refused percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding for 41 days. The court agreed with the medical evidence that he had capacity to make this decision, and the application for declarations pursuant to the inherent jurisdiction was rejected.
