Aftercare guidance "The much criticised Who pays? Determining responsibility for payments to providers (2013) has been significantly revised with effect from 1 April 2016, as have the regulations underpinning the Guidance. Although further changes are in the pipeline, the changes which came into effect this April relate solely to how responsibility for a patient’s s117 Mental Health Act 1983 aftercare should be determined."
