On 3/11/08 new regulations replaced the main Mental Health Regulations:

England	Wales
Mental Health (Hospital, Guardianship and Treatment) (England) Regulations 2008 as amended	Mental Health (Hospital, Guardianship, Community Treatment and Consent to Treatment) (Wales) Regulations 2008
Old Regulations
Mental Health (Hospital, Guardianship and Consent to Treatment) Regulations 1983, for both England and Wales.
