Inpatient services are, in my experience, extremely poor standard for disablilities especially hidden disablilities/multiple sensory disablilities/multiple general disablilities, to the level of being discrimination (in my personal opinion). Example: i was told off and humiliated by a member of staff, in front of a room full of patients, as i was unable to do a certain task due to my major sight impairment. Lifelong disabilities had from birth, were in my experience, treated as some kind of psychotic illness and constantly disbelieved, challenged or told they weren't real disabilities (they are legally disablilities as decided in court, and I have had reasonable adjustments since the 1995 laws were passed). | |||
