:This Order brings into force the provisions of the Mental Health Act 2007 (c.12)( “the 2007 Act”) that repeal the provisions relating to after-care under supervision in the Mental Health Act 1983 (c.20)( “the 1983 Act”). The Order also makes transitional provision for patients subject to after-care under supervision immediately prior to that date.
