R (F and Thompson) v SSHD [2008] EWHC 3170 (QB)
The indefinite nature of the notification requirements of Part 2 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (the Sex Offenders Register) is a disproportionate breach of Article 8: as in F's case, there is no opportunity for review in the case of young offenders; in general, there is no entitlement to have determined the question of whether the notification requirement continues to serve a legitimate purpose.
