MHA report "This briefing note contains some of the key contents of the Mental Health Act Commission’s Twelfth Biennial Report, Risks, Rights, Recovery, which reviews the operation of the Mental Health Act 1983 between 2005 and 2007. It is not a full summary of all aspects of the Biennial Report, but seeks to describe the use of the Act and the experience of detention for people who may be less familiar with the legislation and its operation."
