Press Release from Ben Conroy - Conroys Solicitors LLP

Following on from the First-tier Tribunal decision in Re B [2020] MHLO 18 (FTT) which addresses the order of DCP Johnson dated 26 March 2020 and the postponement of all CTO applications, it would seem that the order may no longer be in force and that CTO cases are now going to be listed for hearing.

It is understood that the tribunal service is working through a list of all the CTO cases that were postponed to re-list them.

Currently there has been no formal press release from HMCTS or anything via MHLA.

Hopefully HMCTS will provide an update to practitioners and Responsible Authorities shortly.
