Our award-winning law firm is expanding our Community Care Law department which is led by Cate Searle.

We specialise in Court of Protection litigation, safeguarding adults at risk, mental capacity and best interests decision-making, health and social care funding, and commissioning and public law challenges of inadequate health and social care packages

We provide case work support in community care and public law matters to professional deputies & attorneys, and private client and personal injury solicitors across England and Wales.

You will be an experienced, enthusiastic lawyer with strong knowledge of health and social care law, looking to join a firm whose lawyers are recognised as leaders in their field.

With at least three years post-qualification experience in community care law, you will have handled cases in most of our practice areas, specifically working with vulnerable people and conducting your own advocacy in the Court of Protection.

You will have strong analytical skills, enjoy problem solving and will have demonstrable experience of applying public law principles to privately-funded case work. Experience of running training courses and supervising colleagues as well as challenging public law decisions by judicial review is desirable.
