These Rules amend the Mental Health Review Tribunal (Northern Ireland) Rules 1986 (SR 1986/193) to allow the chairman of the MHRT to approve legal members for restricted cases after consultation with Lord Chancellor (rather than it being the Lord Chancellor's role to approve legal members).
